Dans le cadre de rajeunir le verger caféier, la SOPROCOPIV a initié, depuis Septembre 2020, le projet de « Distribution des plantules ». Ce projet a été financé par REBU RUTASOKA. Ce projet consistait à distribuer des plantules de café aux planteurs – membres de la SOPROCOPIV – dans son rayon d’action à savoir : Hutwe, Mighobwe, Bulotwa, Katero, Kikuvo, Kamandi, Kyavurawa, Kirumba et Kavisa, en territoire de Lubero, Province du Nord-Kivu, en République Démocratique du Congo.
5036 planteurs certifiés ont bénéficié de ces plantules proportionnellement à la taille de plantation à disposition de chaque planteur.
