Cet arrivé;  s’est inscrit dans le cadre du renforcement de partenariat entre la SOPROCOPIV et cette fondation ayant son siège en SUEDE. Débutant son séjour, Monsieur BALEKE TSHIKALE s’est entretenu d’abord  avec l’équipe dirigeante de la coopérative, représenté par son Président du Conseil d’administration, Monsieur Muhindo Malekani Jean-Marie et sa directrice Masika Mukute Josephine où il a présenté le leitmotiv de sa mission. Ensemble ils ont manifesté le vœux de travailler en synergie pour améliorer les conditions de vie de caféicultures. Sur place, l’hôte de la SOPROCOPIV a eu à apprécier le terrain(la parcelle) que la coopérative a déjà disponibilisé pour recevoir cette construction et a tenu à encourager les caféiculteurs d’appuyer toujours la coopérative car c’est le seul moyen de promouvoir la culture du café. De retour de Kamandi pour Butembo, le dimanche 21 Février, il a profité pour visiter la station la plus réputée de lavage de café dans le village De Hutwe où il s’est réuni avec quelques dizaines de membres de la SOPROCOPIV qui était à son attente. En tant que concours de la dégustation de café de spécialité et réunion annuelle des représentants de la chaîne d’approvisionnement international. Il soutient la construction de l’industrie du café de la spécialité de la RD Congo, produisant certains des meilleurs cafés arabica du monde. Le développement de l’industrie du café de spécialité en RDC joue un rôle crucial dans l’augmentation de la stabilité économique et de la paix dans le Haut plateau fertile de l’Est du Congo. En Juin de chaque année, le SAVEUR DU KIVU annuel a lieu avec beaucoup de fanfares congolaises et internationales. Cet événement a lieu à Bukavu, au Sud-Kivu, en RDC. Un concours de ventouse, des ateliers sur la chaîne d’approvisionnement et un forum des producteurs auront lieu avec les représentants des organisations des producteurs, du gouvernement, d’ONG, d’ONGi, et d’acheteurs, dans le but de soutenir la réemérgence d’une industrie du café de spécialité durable en RDC. SOPROCOPIV  a déjà participé à cet évènement 4 fois (2019,2018, 2017, 2016). Lors de ces différents évènements de SAVEUR DU KIVU, SOPROCOPIV expose ses échantillons de café aux participants et intervient dans les différents panels. SOPROCOPIV  détient deux certificats de SAUVEUR DU KIVU à son actif. Souligons que les Certificats sont décernés après la proclamation sur base du résultat du café présenté. Les étapes ci-dessous explique brièvement le processus de traitement du café chez SOPROCOPIV: Réception du café parche à l’Usine Pesage du café à l’aide de la balance Arrangement des sacs dans l’entrepôt selon l’origine (Village/Site de Provenance) Si le café n’est pas sec, il sera étalé au soleil jusqu’à atteindre 11.5% d’humidité. S’il s’agit de la période pluvieuse, on fait recourt au séchoir. Usinage (Du séchoir, le café est transposé sur le tapis roulant jusque dans le Silon) Après le Silon, le café va dans le Prénetoyeur Du prénettoyeur, le café passe par l’Élévateur 1, Le café quitte l’Elévateur 1 et se déverse dans l’Épierreuse qui enlève et élimine les pierres dans le café. Depuis l’Epierreuse, le café monte par l’Elévateur 2 jusqu’à la Décortiqueuse La Décortiqueuse enlève le parche et le Café devient Marchand. L’Elévateur 3 élève le café jusqu’au Catador Le Catador permet de distinguer le café selon la qualité (Grade A [Marchand A], Grade B [Marchand B] et Grade C [Marchand C]) L’Elévateur 4 transporte le café jusqu’au calibreur depuis le Catador. Le Calibreur permet de trier le Café selon la taille (Calibre). Enfin, le Triage permet d’enlever le Café défectueux. Après le triage, le café trié et le café défectueux sont pesés séparément. (A l’aide de la balance électrique)  Le café trié est placé dans l’entrepôt. (Entrepôt du café marchand trié). Le café est ensuite placé dans la salle de bulcage (Homogénéisation du café). La dernière étape consiste à mettre le café dans les sacs d’exportation (Sac à gite) en raison de 60Kg maximum par Sac. L’Ultime étape consiste au chargement des sacs de café dans les véhicules.
